Online and Computer Assisted Data Collection

Ipsos has been a pioneer from the outset, investing heavily in its people, new methodologies and technology. Our quantitative data collection toolbox includes in-person, mail, phone, household panel, and Internet capabilities.

Today Ipsos has CATI centers in 22 countries, i.e. a total of more than 3000 interviewers stations equipped with predictive dialling systems. In Asia Pacific we have centers in Australia, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

In Australia we are also equipped with CAMI (Computer Assisted Mobile Interviewing) technology for data delivery in real time.

CAPI technology is used throughout our Asian network and we also conduct surveys increasingly through the Internet.

Omnibus Studies

Ipsos in Australia, Korea, China and Japan offers clients access to an omnibus survey of households representative of the population. Whether you would like to 'dip-stick' test an idea or track a few questions over a series of months, the omnibus survey could be the most cost-effective approach for your project.

Panels and Interactive Services:

Access panels are made up of selected individuals who agree to take part regularly in surveys, usually by completing questionnaires sent directly to their homes, by mail or online.

We have the largest consumer access panel in Japan with over 250,000 participating households. One in every 120 households in the Tokyo and Osaka metropolitan areas are Ipsos Japan panel members. Japan has one of the highest incidences of computer ownership in the world and we also have a sophisticated online J-panel of 380.000 individuals.

In China we have a Household panel of 250,000 and a Professional Panel with 2000 individuals representing the top professions.

Take advantage of the high rates of internet penetration in Australia by utilising our online panel comprising 40,000 individuals.
